SUPER 8 FILMS

For couples longing for a retro, joyful and nostalgic type of wedding film. Super 8 is such a fun, creative way to capture the essence of a wedding and can be done alongside our photography (So no need for a second shooter). A unique form of videography made popular in the 80s, Super 8 remains a brilliant medium of film for lovers looking for something different. Super 8 does not come with audio so it won’t record speeches or vows.

THE PROCESS

HOW TO BOOK US FOR YOUR WEDDING & WHAT HAPPENS AFTER.

01.

Browse through our website and read all the relevant bits (About Us, Our Approach etc.) so you can really get to know us first. If we sound like your type of wedding photogs, shoot us a message via our enquiry form on the Contact Us page. The more details, the better.

02.

Once your message lands in our inbox we do a little happy dance because your wedding day sounds like a total dream. We’ll get back to you within 48 hours with our availability and answer any questions you might have.

03.

We’re a match made in heaven and you decide to book – YAY! We’ll send through your wedding contract and a booking fee deposit invoice of £750. Once that’s done, your date is secured and we’re officially your wedding photographers. Well of course, start following you on instagram and get stupidly excited every time you post anything wedding related.

04.

Closer to your wedding day, we’ll catch-up via Zoom and chat all things weddings. We’re super invested in your day and can’t wait to know about all your beautiful plans. We’ll also send out your wedding questionnaire and your final balance* a month before the wedding. It’s time to get super duper excited.

*if your wedding is outside of England or Wales, we’ll invoice for accommodation and travel costs from 9 months onwards.

05.

Your wedding day is finally here! Nothing else you have to do except relax and enjoy the ride. It’ll be an epic day celebrating your beautiful love with your nearest and dearest. We’ll be there with you, doing what we love, capturing your day as it unfolds. You’re in good hands.

06.

Holy smokes. You’re married. Best decision ever and what a celebration it was! We’ll send you a few sneak peeks over the next couple of days and you’ll receive your full gallery within eight -12 weeks of your wedding date. We’ll be dreaming we could do it all over again.

We’re based in South West London! Travel within England &
Wales is included in our price so if you’re getting married elsewhere, we charge an additional fee for accommodation + travel costs. We photograph weddings all over
London and the UK so feel free to get in touch regardless of where you’re based – we’d still love to hear from you.
We take on a strictly limited number of international weddings which start at £5,000 for one photographer + travels incl.

Having two photographers means two different perspectives of your wedding day. It also cases the stress of needing to be at two places at once as we can split up and easily capture the endless candid moments between you, your family and your friends.

The sooner the better really as we get booked between 12-18 months in advance. We’re always keen to hear from couples who’d love us to photograph their wedding so we’ll do our very best to make the date you’ve got in mind. That being said, don’t be shy if you’re a last minute enquiry as you never know!

We always deliver all the photos of your special day unless they’re the mid-blinking, unintentional blurry or unflattering ones which let’s be honest, no one wants to have.
RAW (unedited) photos however, won’t be delivered. If you choose us to document your day, you’re trusting us to do our thing editing-wise and that we’ll send you the absolute crème de la crème.

We are indeed. All our equipment is covered and we are insured with both public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Our full-day photography package is a standard 10-hour timeframe. This usually covers morning preparations up until an hour or so after the first dance. If you’d like us to stay for longer and we have the capacity to, we charge an additional £350 an hour. Just let us know either when you enquire or closer to the time and we can discuss our availability.

We try our best to be as open as possible about who we are and our approach so that you can decide pretty quickly whether we’re the right choice for you. However, we’d be more than happy to chat on the phone about any questions you might have. As for all the couples that book us, we either meet up for a drink or a Zoom catch-up depending on what works best for both parties.

We are true to the word ‘natural’ and ‘candid’ wedding photography. We don’t photoshop out pores, blemishes or wrinkles in clothes. We do of course, will always aim to give you the most flattering and beautiful photos.

We do, but that’s not what we focus on during the day. Our style is documentary-led and all about capturing romantic, candid and honest moments. We strongly suggest a max of 10-12 group shots in order for you to get the best out of our work! If you’re looking for someone to capture lots of group photos, we’re not the right fit for you. If time allows we’ll admit that we’re big fans of styled, well-composed photos of your wedding party!

Us Chamberlins are foodies so the way to our hearts is definitely via our stomachs! After an early start and jam-packed day of shooting, it’s wonderful to be offered a warm meal. Generally, we always eat at the same time as the wedding guests and sit somewhere flexible enough for us to later snap photos without disturbing anyone.

No – sorry. We don’t edit differently based upon request. We have a particular style that we have crafted over the years and are proud to create our photos in the way that we do. We maintain a specific look that will only really vary across different weather scenarios or drastically different backgrounds. Editing style is very much a part of who we are so we always encourage couples to take a thorough look through our work to make sure they’re happy with how we edit.

As we take on a limited number of weddings, we’re very intentional about the type of weddings that we shoot. It’s important we’re able to share work on social media / wedding sites and our own website as it plays a big part in how new couples find us. We also share a lot of BTS on a wedding day on Instagram as that’s part of our marketing & approach too. We understand if it’s imperative to you both that your wedding is not shared in public for privacy purposes, but it means that we won’t be the right fit for you sadly.
