Jo & Alex.
No rain could stop Jo & Alex from enjoying their lovely autumnal Hampton Wick wedding in South West London. Based in Kingston upon Thames, this sweet duo tied the knot at St Johns Hampton Wick; a familiar church to us as we’ve not only photographed there before, but also have friends who attend. Hampton Wick is practically next door to us so shooting a wedding here was super dreamy.
We met Jo & Alex through our good friend Martha, who is Jo’s cousin. We felt so honoured to once again take part in a Collison wedding and document their wedding day. Post ceremony, we headed out to Riverhouse Barn, a lovely community arts centre that dubs as a rustic wedding venue tucked away in Walton upon Thames. Despite the very wet October day, the sweet couple braved the weather for some adorable couple portraits by Riverside Park.
Throughout the day it became very clear that both Jo & Alex had a bit of a sweet tooth. They had homemade cakes after the service and not one, but three(!) wedding cakes from Luminary Bakery. The real cherry on top was the biscuit-themed table names and decór they had which was just adorable.
After dinner and speeches, the night ended with a joyful ceilidh that got everyone dancing and falling(!).
We had a lovely time at this wedding so thank you again, Jo & Alex, for having us.
